The best thing I heard this week was Episode 61 of the Happier Podcast with Gretchen Rubin. This week’s podcast had several topics that made me think about things in a different light, which I think is always the sign of time well-spent. The two topics specifically were over-apologizing and identifying your preference for familiarity versus novelty. The discussion on over-apologizing was so intriguing to me because I realized I do it often. Just saying “sorry” all the time, without having… Read more »

Best Thing I’ve Heard All Week – Favorite Podcast Episode
As I outlined in THIS post, I am an avid podcast listener. I think avid is a nicer way to describe someone rather than obsessive, crazy or junkie, right? Let’s go with avid. I listen to anywhere from 8-15 hours of podcasts per week. Driving, washing dishes, folding laundry, showering, exercising, cooking, painting, any activity where my mind can focus while my hands do something else is a good time to listen. The first one that got me hooked is Balanced Bites, which I started listening to shortly after we completed the 21 Day Sugar Detox back in February. The creator of the 21 Day Sugar Detox, Diane Sanfilippo, has a great website and… Read more »
